SUBJECT: UNSUB; Aka. Dan Cooper, Northwest Airlines Flight #350 Portland, Oregon, to Seattle, Washington, 11/24/71 CAA - HIJACKING; EXTORTION

(OO: SEATTLE)

---

On 11/1/73, an individual who identified himself as [REDACTED] Wilmington, N. C., telephone [REDACTED] telephonically contacted the Wilmington RA and advised that he knows an individual who resembles the artist's conception of COOPER, the individual who hijacked the airplane on the west coast about two years ago. He requested that he be shown the artist's conception of COOPER.

---

On 11/7/73, after receipt of artist's conceptions from Charlotte, [REDACTED] was contacted at his residence and was shown these pictures. He advised that the drawings of the unknown subject, also known as DAN COOPER, do not look like the artist's conception of COOPER he saw in the Wilmington, Delaware, newspaper which appeared several days after the hijacking. The drawings shown [REDACTED] on 11/7/73, were a black and white conception with dark glasses and two color artist's conceptions, one with glasses and one without glasses. [REDACTED] advised that these drawings do not look like the individual he had in mind but that the drawings seen by him in the Wilmington, Delaware, paper looked exactly like an individual known to him without his glasses.
