UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Memorandum

TO: SAC, SEATTLE (164-81) DATE: 3/27/74

FROM: SAC, LOS ANGELES (164-497) (P)

SUBJECT: NORJAK OO: Seattle

Re Salt Lake City airtel to Seattle 2/4/74, concerning possible suspect RICHARD DRESE.

RICHARD P. DRESP, [redacted b6, b7C], La Cresente California, was contacted by Bureau Agents, Los Angeles, at his residence on 3/26/74. DRESP states he has resided at this address for eleven years with [redacted]. [redacted] He stated he was in Seattle, Washington in 1950 while in the U. S. Coast Guard, but has not been in Washington since that time. DRESP was unable to recall specifically where he was on Thanksgiving Day of 1971, however, states he definitely would have been at home with his family or at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. WALTER DRESP, 1245 Sonora, Glendale, California.

RICHARD DRESP advised he is employed as an agent for the American National Insurance Company, Glendale, and held that position in November 1971.

He stated he has never been a parachutist nor has he ever flown other than as a passenger on a commercial airline.

Los Angeles indices and records of the Glendale Police Department contain no derogatory information regarding DRESP and he was not noted by the interviewing Agents to bear any resemblance to the composite drawing of the unknown subject in this matter.

Since there was no other reason to connect DRESP with this matter other than the fact that [redacted] [redacted] Ogden, Utah, believed he resembled the composite it does not appear this person warrants any further action at this time.
