MARY JOAN COOPER, [REDACTED] was interviewed at her place of residence. After being informed of the official identity of the interviewing Agent, COOPER was advised of the nature of the inquiry. COOPER then furnished the following information:
COOPER advised that she is the wife of DONALD KENT COOPER, who is presently out of town but would return shortly. COOPER advised that in 1971, her husband was the managing director of the North Dakota Credit Union League and they resided in Jamestown, North Dakota.
COOPER advised that in 1971, her husband was selected to represent the United States in Uganda, South Africa as a team member of the Marketing Society in Uganda. COOPER stated that this essentially involved the application of COOPER's particular skills as a financial advisor to the government of Uganda. COOPER advised that this selection was made and coordinated by the U.S. Department of State pursuant to the AID Program.
COOPER advised that they left North Dakota in late November and after spending some time with relatives in Iowa arrived in Washington, D.C. where they were briefed by State Department officials during the last week in November, 1971. COOPER advised that she could not recall the exact dates of these briefings nor their departure from North Dakota but added that the governor of North Dakota gave them a going-away party prior to their departure.
COOPER added that she, her husband, and children arrived in Athens, Greece, on December 4, 1971, and arrived in Uganda on December 7, 1971. COOPER related that one [REDACTED] (phonetic) coordinated much of this program at the State Department.

COOPER advised that she and her children departed Uganda on or about September 29, 1972, on the last commercial flight out of the country. COOPER's husband left the country three months later. COOPER advised that the political and military situation in Uganda at this time had deteriorated to the point that it was considered unwise for Americans to remain.
COOPER stated that her husband then became the Managing Director of the New York Credit Union League and they briefly resided in Matawan, New Jersey, before moving to Castleton on Hudson, New York, where they remained until July 3, 1976, when they moved to Liberty, Missouri. COOPER added that her husband preceded her to Liberty by approximately six months. COOPER is presently employed with the Straus Fuchs Organization as National Marketing Manager at the 10 Main Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
COOPER displayed the March, 1971, and June, 1973, issues of Credit Union Magazine which bore DONALD COOPER's photograph on the cover.
COOPER advised that she is certain that she and her family spent the Thanksgiving holidays with their families in Iowa, but would consult with her husband to be sure.
