UNSUB '/ POSSIBLY LIVING IN [guess: AMBOY], WASH ✗

---

At 4:22 PM, 12/23/72, [REDACTED] Woodland PD, Woodland, Wa., phone [REDACTED] telephonically advised that he may have some information pertaining to this case. An individual he is familiar with, [REDACTED] in turn received word from a [REDACTED] friend of his, [REDACTED] that the UNSUB in this case may [REDACTED] be alive and well and residing in Amboy, Wa., located near Wood-[guess: land]. [REDACTED] currently resides in Portland, Oregon, address unknown, and works for [REDACTED] Portland, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] sometimes visits and does some work in Woodland on the weekends. This weekend he talked with [REDACTED], a resident of Woodland, who stated that the UNSUB now lives in semi-seclusion, has grown a beard and mustache, and has dyed his hair a different color. He gives his story as follows:

---

On the night of the hijacking, UNSUB came to the house of some of [REDACTED] friends, three brothers and one sister. He was extremely windburned on his face and hands. Apparently these four people gave him some aid, however, [REDACTED] is not sure if the UNSUB talked about the hijacking to them. They knew his name, as does [REDACTED] would not give [REDACTED] this information. [REDACTED] did give [REDACTED] the [guess: last] name of the three brothers and one sister, but [REDACTED] has forgotten it.

---

[REDACTED] is now trying to get back in touch with [REDACTED] in the hopes [REDACTED] may give him this name.

---

[REDACTED] advised that [REDACTED] is a [REDACTED] and will not talk to law enforcement officers about this matter. [REDACTED] said that although he does not know [REDACTED] exact address, any Woodland PD officer could show us where he lives.
