On 1/2/73, Sanpete County Sheriff GRANT LARSEN, (NA), Manti, Utah, telephonically advised that he had known [REDACTED b6/b7C] Manti, Utah, all of [REDACTED b6/b7C] life. Sheriff LARSEN stated there has been no large purchase of farms in the Manti, Utah, area or in the entirety of the Sanpete County. Sheriff LARSEN described [REDACTED b6/b7C] as follows:
Height 6 feet 2 inches Weight 160 pounds Build Slender Hair Blond Complexion Ruddy Age Approximately 31 years
Sheriff LARSEN stated that [REDACTED b6/b7C] has an arrest record for [REDACTED b6/b7C] [REDACTED b6/b7C] and LARSEN described him as a [REDACTED b6/b7C]. He stated that both of [REDACTED b6/b7C] parents were deceased. He stated he was not sure as to the employment of [REDACTED b6/b7C] however, he was currently living in Manti, Utah. He indicated [REDACTED b6/b7C] always seems to be shy of money, however, he does drive a late model pickup truck.

They further indicated there was no purchase or sale of any property amounting to $170,000.00.

On 1/9/73, Sheriff LARSEN, Manti, Utah, was shown two copies of the composite pictures of the UNSUB; and he indicated in no way does the picture resemble [REDACTED]. He stated [REDACTED] features are much coarser, and he was a much younger individual than that which was portrayed by the composite pictures.
