On 6/16/75, [REDACTED] who requested his identity be kept strictly confidential and not disclosed to anyone outside the Bureau, (especially not [REDACTED] mentioned below) stated as follows:

In connection with the sky-jacking of an aircraft a few years ago, he believes at Seattle, Washington, or in Oregon, where "D. B. COOPER" bailed out of the plane with $200,000.00 and has never been caught, he feels COOPER had to be an experienced "smoke jumper" or experienced in jumping out the back ramp door.

[REDACTED] told him that just before COOPER hijacked that plane, [REDACTED] made by Air America, which was [REDACTED] This was [REDACTED]

He feels one of the two, or both, of the men who [REDACTED] could be involved in the COOPER case. He suggested that if the flight crew in the COOPER case could see [REDACTED] they could probably identify one of them, if one was in fact COOPER. If one was COOPER, the other one was probably the helper on the ground, as he feels COOPER would have to have had someone on the ground to help COOPER get away.

He further stated that if the sketch of COOPER was shown to [REDACTED] might be able to recognize and identify COOPER. However, he does not know whether [REDACTED] would be cooperative or not and might even refuse to talk with the FBI.

He stated he, [REDACTED] [REDACTED] at Missoula, Montana, and he might be able to identify the sketch of COOPER, if COOPER had [REDACTED] in Missoula at the same time.

[REDACTED] stated that the reason he is now furnishing the above information is because he is mad at Air America. He applied with Air America in about [REDACTED] for a job and they wouldn't hire him.

He stated he presently works for [REDACTED] Kansas City, Missouri, [REDACTED] only works when called, and lives [REDACTED] in Lawrence, Kansas. He volunteered he is not [REDACTED] in Lawrence.
