Re memo of SA [REDACTED] dated 1/11/82.

A review of the records of the Everett, Washington, Police Department and Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, regarding [REDACTED] [REDACTED] reflected no arrest record other than a [REDACTED] [REDACTED] from Everett, Washington, Police Department. No information could be obtained which would indicate that [REDACTED] [REDACTED] attorney, [REDACTED] a respected attorney in the Everett, Washington, area, feels very strongly that [REDACTED] Contacts made with other individuals, as set forth below, failed to reflect any inforamtion to indicate that [REDACTED] [REDACTED] It appears very unlikely that [REDACTED] could have been the individual involved in captioned matter as indicated by [REDACTED] Investigation set forth below tends to indicate that this would not be possible, however, [REDACTED] appears to sincerely believe [REDACTED] is the individual commonly referred to as D.B. Copper. Some of the facts related by [REDACTED] to support his belief were shown to not be true and when confronted with this, [REDACTED] appeared to want to discredit the information, refuting what he believes to be actual facts.

Records of the Everett, Washington, Police Department, and Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, contained no record identifiable with [REDACTED]. The records of both agencies do reflect an extensive arrest record for [REDACTED] also known as [REDACTED] [REDACTED] date of birth, [REDACTED] The arrest record dates back to [REDACTED] and shows arrests as recently :as [REDACTED] None of the arrests resulted in any type of felony prosecution and most re- late to various [REDACTED]

[REDACTED] These records do reflect that [REDACTED] was residing at [REDACTED] Edmonds, Washington, through December, 1974. This would tend to indicate that [REDACTED] was in the area for sometime after captioned incident.

Investigation determined that [REDACTED] is no longer in existence. [REDACTED], was a business [REDACTED] in the Snohomish County, Washington, area during [REDACTED] The company
