Dear [REDACTED]

Your letter of September 22, 1977 referring to previous correspondence in regard to the claim of [REDACTED] has been received.

The VA Insurance Center, St. Paul, Minnesota requested that this office make an administrative determination for a finding of the fact of death for [REDACTED] In this connection it was necessary to involve our Central Office in Washington, D. C. for complete investiga- tion and development.

Based on the information Central Office has furnished us, a finding of the fact of death was made. A copy of the decision was forwarded to the Insurance Center on September 29, 1977.

Since this office is not involved with the insurance claim itself, we suggest you contact the Insurance Center directly if any further information is required.

Thank you for your patience.

Sincerely yours,

[REDACTED]
