SAC, SEATTLE (164-81) 12/22/71

SA RUBAIYAT B. CASTELLOW

NORJAK

---

On 11:25 AM on December 13, 1971, [REDACTED] Seattle, Washington, telephone No. [REDACTED], personally appeared at the Seattle Office and demanded to see SAC MILNES.

He was interviewed by SA CASTELLOW in the Interview Room.

[REDACTED] advised that he had telephonically talked to Mr. MILNES and had indicated to him that he would advise him the identity of the hijacker for $10,000 in ad- vance. [REDACTED] was convinced to discuss the matter with SA CASTELLOW.

He stated that before furnishing any information, he desired to be known he needs $10,000 to attend law school.

He explained that he is a [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and that on Friday night, December 10, 1971, at approximately midnight he picked up a passenger in downtown Seattle. That individual was drunk. During con- versation with the individual, [REDACTED] learned that the individual was a sky-diver and had made approximately 75 jumps. Further, he is a motorcycle enthusiast and is par- ticularly fond of the trail bikes that he rides through the woods.

[REDACTED] then concluded that an individual who is both a sky-diver and a motorcycle enthusiast could well be identical with the hijacker. He concluded this because he could have left his trail bike in the area where he intended to parachute from the plane and thereby make his getaway on the trail bike.
