I repeat, that I am sorry I didn't make a note of
the day I called & the detectives came over, when
I told them, what I have written here. It could of
been in late Dec. of 1971 or Jan. of 1972. That is why
I wrote if you contact our local detectives and
see if they have the notes they took from me on their
records yet. I often wondered if they ever contacted
your office. They told me that they thought that it was
just a coincidence. I feel that they didn't think there was
any connections with, that, it was D.B. Cooper. Over
the years, I keep thinking its possible that they were here.

[REDACTED] have taken any time away from
[REDACTED] about the time I mentioned above. You could
use lie detector test on [REDACTED] that time. Also give a lie
leave from [REDACTED]
detector test to
D.B. Cooper Could of
Especially if
some of the parachutes were no good.

I have no more to add, hoping you will forgive
me for so much detail. I felt it was necessary
that I did. This has been on my mind for many
years now. Now that I have written I feel better
about it. It could be a lead. Who knows? Hope
to hear from you in the future.
