was displayed an artist's conception of DAN COOPER and advised the artist's conception in no way resembles WILLIAM ALLEN JONES known to him as Bill Jones.
[REDACTED] related that BILL JONES has only had about 10 jumps and JONES is not a good parachutist. [REDACTED] believes that JONES lacks the experience to be responsible for this hijacking and JONES knows nothing about aircraft.
[REDACTED] is of the opinion that the person responsible for captioned hijack was an extremely experienced parachutist and this individual is probably also a pilot. Many years ago when [REDACTED] was in the military stationed on the west coast he did a great deal of parachute jumping. During the time he met a man whose name he cannot recall from Spokane, Washington, or near Spokane, Washington. He recalls that this man was a very experienced jumper; known by parachute clubs up and down the west coast and he fully recalls that this man was an experienced pilot. He described this man as follows:
Race White Sex Male Age Approximately 45 Hair Dark brown Height 6' Build Slender
In 1968 [REDACTED] learned that this man had "cracked up" and was now in a wheel chair. However, he heard that this man was making some "water jumps." [REDACTED] is of the opinion that the artist's conception of DAN COOPER very much resembles this experienced jumper from Spokane, Washington, whose name he cannot recall.
[REDACTED] says he has a number of magazines in his residence and he believes he might be able to find a photograph of this unknown man.
