NORJAK

---

On 4/26/72, [redacted] FAA, Washington, D. C., advised review of FAA records suggested one [redacted] as a possible suspect in NORJAK.

[redacted] who was born [redacted] is an [redacted] Leesburg, Virginia. During November, 1961, he filed for bankruptcy claim- ing indebtedness of $12,000. He was in serious financial straits and according to FAA [redacted]. [redacted] was scheduled for a [redacted] to Los Angeles 11/24/71, on American Airlines Flight 77 leaving Dulles Airport at 9:00 a.m. FAA time and attendance records show a discrepancy for this period. However, it can be determined that [redacted] was off duty from noon 11/23 through 11/28, 1971. Records would indicate he did not fly to Los Angeles until 11/25/71, on the same 9:00 a.m. American flight, however, [redacted] points out these records would not be conclusive proof [redacted] actually made the flight on that date. It is known according to FAA that he spent the weekend of the 26th in Las Vegas. According to [redacted] apparently has resolved all of his financial difficulty.

FAA records indicate [redacted] served in the U. S. Air Force at Tachikawa Air Force Base, Japan, from May, '65 through
