Mr. Richard B. Kleindienst U.S. Attorney General [Operations Division / U.S. Marshals Service]

Sir: I wrote you May 8th regarding sky jacking of Northwest 727 on the run from Portland to Seattle the eve of Thanksgiving last. Today a Kansas City F.B.I. agent called me out (to [guess: ask] [guess: for] you [guess: how I] acted) I gave the agent the mans name, and other details, after he identified his self. I feel I should give you the facts too after the letter I wrote you. I have a crime pardner named [REDACTED - b6/b7C] [guess: wherever] we [guess: resided] anywhere [guess: he] gave the name D.B. Cooper. In [illegible] he approached me with the idea of sky jacking a 727 and him jumping [illegible] after the [illegible] was [guess: disbursed] to me. 169-81-3558 When this sky jacking took place with the same name being used I was convinced my pardner was free and [guess: had] [illegible] it [illegible] [REDACTED - b6/b7C] [guess: checked]
