Sheriff's Office, Coupeville, Washington, advised that

Chronolog on Channel 5 and a program titled "The Children
of God" was presented. The leader of the Children of God
was presented as DAVID BERG and his photograph was shown
several times throughout the program. The narrator mentioned
that BERG has not been heard of for approximately 2 years and
his whereabouts are unknown. She felt at the time that the
photograph displayed of BERG was very similar to the com-
posite photograph of the hijacker known as D. B. Cooper.
She certainly could not state that the two photographs were
identical but felt there were some facial similarities. She
felt that BERG is approximately 35 years of age. She has
never seen DAVID BERG in person. [redacted] believed the
