NORJAK

---

[REDACTED] Hallman Chevrolet, Reno, Nevada, on 1/31/73, advised that he had located a leasee agreement for Consolidated Leasing Corporation, 5670 East Washington Blvd., Los Angeles, California 90022. The agreement is dated 9/7/71, and was cancelled on 9/21/71. The leasee is Atlantic Richfield Corporation and lists the driver as D. B. COOPER, 1930 Windsor Way, Reno, Nevada.

---

[REDACTED] Atlantic Richfield, was contacted on the telephone and using a no-name pretext, it was determined that a DAVID REESE COOPER had been employed at that company for a number of years. He was specifically asked if COOPER worked Thanksgiving Eve, 1971, and [REDACTED] said records indicate that COOPER was in Reno, working that day.

---

DAVID REESE COOPER, 1930 Windsor Way, Reno, was interviewed on 2/2/73. He said he did not know a D. B. COOPER and that there was no D. B. COOPER at his address. He said he is kidded a great deal about his name and the NORJAK subject because of the manner in which he signs his name, the R. looking like a B.

---

COOPER is about 50 years of age, 5'7" tall, is bald and wears hornrimmed glasses.

---

No further investigation being conducted at this time.

ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
