[REDACTED] Portland, Oregon [REDACTED] Lakeview or Lakeside Motel in Woodland, Washington, approximately ten miles north of Vancouver, Washington. [REDACTED] Semaphore Cafe 1639 S.E. Holgate, Portland phone 235-9896. They want their names kept confidential and prefer not to be contacted in this matter.
[REDACTED] About ten months ago [REDACTED] advised [REDACTED] as follows:
About a month or two after NORJAK [REDACTED] [REDACTED] motel, name not mentioned or forgotten, made state- ments as follows:
About a week prior to Thanksgiving, 1971, a man not described and means of transportation not mentioned, but who resembled the composite drawing of D.B. COOPER, registered at the motel saying he would be in and out and instructing that his room was not to be disturbed and not to be rented to any- one else. He departed the motel on or about Thanksgiving Day and returned during the night of Thanksgiving. He then stayed at the motel a few more days and checked out.
