weeks. [REDACTED b6, b7C] [REDACTED] Muskego, Wisconsin.

At approximately midnight, December 4, 1974, a u-haul van bearing Ohio truck license plate 4P3552 was observed in the vicinity of the aforementioned [REDACTED] residence. The vehicle was occupied by a lone white male. Officers of the Muskego Police Department began questioning the occupant of this vehicle believing him to be DAVID ARTHUR STAUDT; however, this individual furnished identification in the name [REDACTED] and denied that he was in fact STAUDT.

While an effort was being made to determine the identity of this individual, STAUDT escaped on foot from the officers and was not immediately apprehended. In making his escape he abandoned the u-haul van and its contents.
