During the early morning hours of October 5, 1975, investigation was conducted in the area of [REDACTED b6, b7C] [REDACTED] Muskego, Wisconsin, in an effort to apprehend DAVID ARTHUR STAUDT, a FBI fugitive wanted for Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution noting that STAUDT had earlier escaped from Muskego police officers at this location.
In connection with the investigation it was observed that STAUDT fled the area after abandoning the vehicle in which he was driving, a U-Haul van bearing Ohio truck license 4P3552. Located in the front portion of the van behind the passenger seat was a brown attache case which was locked.
In order that the contents of the briefcase could be determined, the locks were forced at which time eight brown envelopes were found containing US currency of various denominations.
Present at the scene in addition to Agent FRAZER b6, b7C, b7E were Muskego Lieutenant [REDACTED] Sergeant [REDACTED] and Patrolman [REDACTED]. The briefcase was transported to the Muskego Police Department by Lieutenant [REDACTED] where the envelopes were opened and the money counted by SA FRAZER and Sergeant [REDACTED]. The total sum of the currency was determined to be [REDACTED] in 20, 10, 5, and one dollar denominations. The money was thereafter sealed by Sergeant [REDACTED] and inventoried under property number 1507.

Social Security Card Number [REDACTED] in the name [REDACTED]
