Enclosed for the New York Division are one copy of a personal letter from [REDACTED], Royal Globe Insurance Company, 150 William Street, New York, New York, dated 9/19/76 to the Seattle Office of the FBI, and one copy of a personal letter from the Seattle Office of the FBI to [REDACTED], dated 10/18/76.

For the information of New York Division, contact has been made telephonically by Seattle with the Royal Globe Insurance Company in New York as they are the insurance company that paid Northwest Orient Airlines approximately $180,000 as a result of captioned crime. As a result of that contact it was learned that Royal Globe has been receiving some inquiries from pri- vate citizens regarding a reward in this matter.

In an effort to follow up every lead in this important case, liaison was established by the Seattle Division to insure that any contact that Royal Globe Insurance Company receives is promptly forwarded to the FBI.
