She knows [REDACTED] as she has observed [REDACTED] from at [REDACTED] on several occasions. She stated these [REDACTED] apparently were [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and being returned [REDACTED] [REDACTED] He has talked to her about his [REDACTED] and has never been at all secretive or suspicious in his activities. Upon the arrival of his two sons he had boastfully introduced them to her and to many other tenants in the building.
---
[REDACTED] could not state positively that she had observed [REDACTED] at the apartment house on 11/24/71, but stated the two young men had arrived sometime between 11/17/71 and 11/25/71, and she was virtually certain that he, [REDACTED] was there during that entire period.
---
On 1/8/72, [REDACTED] telephonically advised he had confirmed information previously supplied by [REDACTED] that he had a prior account with the West Des Moines Bank, Des Moines, Iowa. He also stated that [REDACTED] had entered the bank since the last contact by the FBI and had deposited a small amount of currency, including three $20 bills. The serial numbers of these bills were checked against the ransom list in this matter and were found unidentical.
---
Inasmuch as both the bank [REDACTED] and the apartment house [REDACTED] have observed the artist's conception and both advise [REDACTED] does not resemble this drawing, $20 bills in the possession of [REDACTED] were not identical with the ransom money, and it has been confirmed by the apartment house [REDACTED] that [REDACTED] is known to be [REDACTED] it does not appear this matter warrants additional investigation at this time.
