ARMED AND DANGEROUS

Re Sub J Miscellaneous Persons, [REDACTED] [REDACTED]-source; and Sacramento airtel to Seattle dated 1/15/92, Serial 9097.
[REDACTED] was suggested as a suspect in this matter by [REDACTED] who had read an article in the newspaper and saw a picture regarding D.B. COOPER. [REDACTED] stated that he thought [REDACTED] strongly resembled the picture of the hijacker. [REDACTED] last spoke to [REDACTED] in 1971. [REDACTED] described [REDACTED] as a paratrooper in the Army who chain-smoked Raleigh cigarettes.
[REDACTED] stated that [REDACTED] would be approximately 48 to 50 years old at the present time. This would make him between 27 and 29 years old at the time of the hijacking.
In view of the fact that [REDACTED] has had no contact with [REDACTED] for over 20 years and is relying solely on his memory of [REDACTED] likeness and also in view of the fact that [REDACTED] was apparently 27 to 29 years old at the time of the hijacking, it does not appear that any additional investigation is warranted concerning [REDACTED] as a possible suspect in this matter.
