I THINK OLE TURNBOW P.O. Box 408 CHRISTMAS VALLEY, ORE. MIGHT BE D. B. COOPER. HE LIVES AT THE AIRPORT, IN CHRISTMAS VALLEY. CHRISTMAS VALLEY IS A REMOTE AREA. HE IS A PILOT. HE OWNS TWO PLANES. HE IS IN HIS EARLY SIXTIES. HE IS TALL AND THIN. HE RESEMBLES THE SKETCH OF D. B. COOPER. HE IS INTELLIGENT. HIS SCRUPLES ARE QUESTIONABLE. HE BOASTS HE DOES NOT PAY INCOME TAX. CHRISTMAS VALLEY IS IN DIRECT LINE FROM PORTLAND TO RENO.

Anonymous handwritten tip suggesting that Ole Turnbow of P.O. Box 408, Christmas Valley, Oregon, might be D.B. Cooper. The writer lists reasons: he lives at an airport in a remote area, is a pilot who owns two planes, is in his early sixties, tall and thin, resembles the Cooper sketch, is intelligent, has questionable scruples, boasts about not paying income tax, and Christmas Valley lies on a direct line from Portland to Reno.
