The family has an excellent reputation in our area. [REDACTED] seems to fitb6 Per BOC right in with his family. I have heard nothing unfavorable regardingb7C Per BOC his moral conduct, drinking habits, personal standards, or attitudes at any time. As far as being a stable, emotionally mature young man, I think that he is. However, because my contact has been limited, I just do not know how he would be able to diagnose and respond to an emergency or critical situation. He appears to be the type who could do this but I just have no way to base an opinion on this. Therefore, I do not feel that I am qualified to comment specifically on his abilities which are needed for a sensitive and critical position with the Government. I have no reason to question his loyalty or patriotism as he is a member of a well recognized religious organization. Because of his extended service in the military, I have no reason to question his loyalty or patriotism to our country. From the general standpoint of his character, I would recommend him for a position of trust and responsibility within our Federal Government.

b6 Per BOC b7C Per BOC I have known [REDACTED] for approximately twenty years. We attended [REDACTED] together and I was one year ahead of him in high school. As I recall, he left high school before graduation. During the time he was here during his high school career his personal character and conduct were fine. He seemed to be honest with good integrity. Of course, heb6 Per BOC seems to be more mature. I have met his wife but I do not recall herb7C Per BOC name. They have one child. This was when they first returned to this area in November of 1970 and I have had no social contact with the family since that time. I have seen [REDACTED] a few times when he comes into the drug store but have had no chance to converse on a lengthy basis with him.

Generally, he appears to be trustworthy and responsible and able to handle whatever would arise. However, because I have had no close association with him for the past twenty years, during the period of his military service, I do not feel qualified to comment on his ability to progress in a job, or his characteristics pertinent to any position for which he applies. This would be on a specific nature. I do feel that he is a loyal American citizen or he would not have given so many years of his life to military service. He has never expressed a radical or unfavorable view- point about our Government to my knowledge.

Generally, I would recommend him from the standpoint of character and reputation for a position of a very sensitive nature handling informa- tion involving the Federal Government.
